What is it like to live here?

Apache Junction has a lot of open space and a close up view of the Superstition Mountains which makes it a very scenic place to live. There are a lot of trailer parks in the area for “snow birds” and easy living. If you like larger sized lots then you can also find places to live with lots of room.

The city is gateway to some exciting places to visit in the Tonto National Forest. Like the Lost Dutchman State Park, Canyon Lake, Apache Lake and Theodore Roosevelt Lake.

There are some very interesting places like the

Superstition Mountain Lost Dutchman Museum and the Mining Camp Restaurant nestled under the Superstition Mountains. 

Check out the fabulous Usery Mountain Park. You are also right next to where the yearly Renaissance Festival is held in the spring.


What are the major employers in Apache Junction?

The major employers are the government including the Apache Junction Unified School District, and Wal-Mart. Most people that work commute outside the city.
